Job Description

DESIRON is seeking a highly motived Showroom Manager/Sales Associate that will play an integral role in supporting our mission as a company through their personal experience, knowledge, and passion for luxury furniture.

This full-time position is in a fast-paced trade environment and requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and customer service. Our team is small, but we are growing quickly. Candidates must have an entrepreneurial mindset and professional demeanor as this position requires close communication with the principles to identify opportunities.

• 5+ years of sales experience in luxury sales, furniture or a showroom setting
• A proven track record of achieving or reaching sales goals of luxury products
• Self – motivated, goal oriented and highly organized team player
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and forward thinking
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for business development
• Must have a warm and positive attitude and consider themselves a brand ambassador for Desiron.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Netsuite and Google Applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Fashion or Design is preferred

• Salary plus commission.
• Paid Time Off including vacation, sick, personal days and company holidays. 401K available. Desiron is an EOE company.
• Hours of operation are from 9AM-6PM, M-F in the showroom. Showroom is located at New York Design Center in NYC. Saturdays by appt only

Job Requirements

• Network, foster and maintain relationships through outreach with various designers and trade professionals
• Manage the sales process with clients, from outreach/inquiry to final order
• Maintain a visually pleasing showroom through placement of furniture, lighting, accessories, and general cleanliness to brand standards Maintenance of showroom administration, including mailing/delivering samples, supply deliveries, calendar and tracking general inventory
• Schedule and manage showroom appointments with clients in person or virtually
• Organize weekly reporting on sales opportunities and growth
• Support organization of events in showroom
• Support marketing initiatives in messaging on all communications
