Job Description

Made Goods and Pigeon & Poodle are seeking a West Coast Sales Manager (West Coast Region) to manage a domestic sales team of independent contractors west of the Rockies. Additionally, the role includes development and management of growing sectors: dedicated key channels of hospitality and/or international. S/he will provide sales training, and develop selected targeted sales opportunities. The company/position is based in eastern Los Angeles County.

• Manage team of Made Goods/Pigeon & Poodle independent sales reps, defined either by region, size, focus or account composition
• Establish sales goals (through monthly/quarterly/annual targets) for the sales reps
• Lead training and development of sales reps
• Provide support with issue resolution as needed
• Work with the VP of Sales, represent the brand with needs at national sales meetings, tradeshows, and company events
• Travel to work with sales reps and customers as necessary
• Manage ad hoc reporting needs as requested by management
• Coordinate, execute, and develop the needs of the sales department with internal departments, including marketing, tradeshow and front office teams
• Work with external accounts as needed in conjunction with the VP of Sales
• Identify competitors and relevant industry opportunities
• Travel as necessary to trades shows

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business or related major
• 5+ years of proven sales leadership with specific, relevant experience in the sales of high end furniture
• Critical and strategic in applying data to identify opportunities
• Thrives in fast paced and changing environment
• Collaborative approach to results
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook)
• Strong verbal/written skills
• Excellent people, time management and research skills
• Persuasive manner with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrates initiative and strategic decision making
• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
