Robert Stilin is an AD100/Elle Décor A-List interior design firm that is currently seeking a sharp, meticulous, and efficient Project Coordinator to help manage logistical tasks across our projects and bring creative ideas to fruition. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the design team as well as the Studio Director to help manage all of the moving parts on our jobs and assist in the execution of design concepts. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm for and understanding of design but with a focus on the behind-the-scenes work that is required to produce our projects in a timely and high-quality manner.
This is a full-time, in-person role operating out of our offices in midtown Manhattan.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect quotes and sales orders from vendors
- Prepare proposals in Studio Designer along with client payment requests
- Oversee the purchasing and procurement of furniture, lighting, rugs, fabrics, and other decorative items
- Organize domestic and international shipments as well as local transport
- Help manage upholstery orders as well as the restoration of vintage/antique furniture and lighting
- Maintain close communication with workrooms, fabricators, carriers, and installers
- Ensure that all client property is safely delivered to storage
- Create inventory documents in advance of project installs
- Keep accurate and clear records of project activity and share regular updates with the design team
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
