Melanie Turner Interiors is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our growing Atlanta-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, motivated designer with 3–5 years of professional experience who is eager to contribute to thoughtfully designed, high-end residential projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced design studio. A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a sense of humor are essential—we believe great work happens when talented people enjoy working together. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior designers with all phases of the design process, from concept through installation
- Prepare drawings, presentations, and design documentation
- Support project coordination including sourcing, vendor communication, and order tracking
- Assist with AutoCAD drawings and revisions
- Help maintain organized project files, schedules, and materials libraries
- Coordinate with team members, vendors, and clients to support project execution
- Assist with site visits, installations, and client meetings as needed

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
Experience: 3–5 years of professional interior design experience (preferably in high-end residential)
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong organizational and critical-thinking abilities, Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task, Resourceful problem-solver with attention to detail, Professional, positive attitude and a good sense of humor, Collaborative, team-oriented mindset,
