Top residential interior design firm seeks highly motivated, obsessively organized & creative junior interior designer to assist principal and senior designers with all aspects of projects from design development through completion. Individual should share the firm’s clean lined modern and classic aesthetic sensibility. Firm is looking for a sophisticated professional designer who is interested in being a team player and working in a supportive positive environment. Position includes specifying material selections & fabrics; helping prepare full sets of construction documents & schedules; interfacing with vendors, clients & contractors; assisting with project oversight, field surveys, and digital presentations in PowerPoint.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in interior design
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail & extremely organized
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Must be a self-starter who is capable of working independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
