o Assist with organizing extensive materials library including processing and filing new samples that come in, returning samples to vendors, marking, and categorizing project samples for distribution.
o Requesting information from vendors-pricing, lead times, color, size, finish, custom capabilities etc.
o Assist with preparing client presentation and budgets, including design boards and in design presentations.
o Picking up/delivering materials, drawings, samples, install items to vendors, site etc.
o Assisting with project installations, errands, etc.
o Coordinating shipping/delivering of packages.
o Assisting in CAD drawings, furniture and art elevations, floor plans etc.
o Personal assisting errands for principal and typical office management as needed.
o Proficiency in AUTOCAD (must be able to show proof in portfolio/work samples)
o Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Specifically InDesign and Photoshop) (must be able to show proof in portfolio/work samples)
o Proficiency in Microsoft (specifically Excel) and Google Suite
o Second Year Masters or above (If applying from Undergrad must be a Junior or above)
o Available to work AT LEAST three full days in our office in Soho NY
o Must have strong organizational skills and systems.
o Must be able to follow directions without deviation.
o Must be open to feedback and learning experiences.
o Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.
o Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
o Ability to think critically and holistically.
