Job Description

We are seeking a design assistant who is passionate about all things design related to assist our Principal/Creative Director in all phases of interior design and product design. Tasks are administrative as well as design specific. Tasks include vendor and customer correspondence, shopping for fabrics and furniture, placing orders, tracking inventory, ensuring delivery and installation of client purchases. Candidate must be able to draw furniture plans and create project schedules, presentations and mood boards.

Job Requirements

Ideal candidate should have an interior design degree and at least one to three years working in the residential design field. Candidate must also have strong technical skills including proficiency in AutoCad, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel. This position is for someone who has a strong work ethic, is self -motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented, a good communicator (both written and verbal) and have the ability to work independently. All applicants must have an ability to multi-task and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time. Resume/Portfolio and Professional references will be required.
