JSD is looking for a highly organized and growth-minded Design Operations Manager to oversee the operations and administrative functions of our interior design firm. This role will manage studio administration, day-to-day operations including vendor correspondence, proposals, invoicing, purchasing, schedules & light bookkeeping while helping maintain an efficient and well-organized workplace.
The ideal candidate enjoys bringing structure to a fast-moving creative environment, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in ensuring that tasks and projects move forward seamlessly. This role requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly as needs evolve. This person will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations including vendor correspondence, proposals, invoicing, purchasing, schedules etc. Must have excellent verbal and written skills ensuring seamless communication with vendors, the design team, contractors, sub contractors & clients. This is a pivotal role that touches every part of our company, giving you a front-row seat to the creative process while ensuring that our operational engine runs smoothly.
3+ years experience in Operations for a design firm OR similar

Excellent attention to detail & strong organizational skills
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with others in a team setting
Experience with IVY (or similar) Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Google Office suite, and ASANA.
Must have valid Drivers license and car
