Job Description

Workstead is looking for a Client Development Manager, who will represent our brand, focusing on our lighting collections and working directly with interior designers, architects, and contract clients to maximize visibility and consideration of our products. You will play a key role in developing new client relationships, while continuing to build upon our loyal client base and strengthening our sales pipeline. Based in our Charleston, SC studio, you will work closely with the Creative Director and Brand Director. A significant portion of your role will involve traveling to meet with clients, building relationships, providing updates, and engaging with clients socially to strengthen partnerships and foster new opportunities. Workstead is a multidisciplinary studio celebrated by the AD100 as a global leader in design. Our Charleston-based lighting studio is trusted by consumers and designers as a source of evocative luminaires, crafted in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. In small- and large-scale work alike, Workstead employs a disciplined design process that melds precedent, modern form, and honest construction.
