The 2022 Southeastern Designer Showhouse, hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and presented by Evercraft made its debut in the heart of Buckhead, Georgia, on April 13. Inspired by vacation properties in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the custom-built 9,300-square-foot residence is located on an acre in the Kingswood neighborhood and was designed by an all-female team: developer and builder Evercraft architect Linda MacArthur and landscape design firm Floralis, with lead specifications designer Kit Castaldo.
The monthlong event, which benefits Camp Twin Lakes, features more than 20 interior design firms from Alabama and Florida to Georgia and Tennessee. It kicked off with Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles editor in chief Lauren Iverson making introductory remarks, followed by a touching speech from Randy O’Neil of Renaissance Tile & Bath on behalf of honorary chair Tish Mills Kirk, a titan of design in the Southeast.
“We’re thrilled to debut a brand-new residence in Buckhead that’s not only a departure from the typical white Atlanta house popping up on every corner, but also one that is the product of an all-female design-build dream team,” says Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles publisher Elizabeth Ralls.
The event is open to the public for tours through May 8, 2022.
