Last month, House Beautiful hosted its annual luncheon in honor of the newest class of Next Wave designers: Allison Allen, Tharon Anderson McEvoy, Blake Brunson, Anne Chessin, Erick Espinoza, Lynde Easterlin Pontius, Kelly Hohla, Tina Ramchandani, Jennifer Glickman and Max Humphrey.
“We find the Next Wave designers when they are nascent, when their talent is just budding, and when they’re really on the ascent,” says Sophie Donelson, House Beautiful editor in chief. “It’s exciting to find people who have enough body of work to show that they have talent, but we also see that their inclinations and instincts, and pace level is just going to grow in time. And this is exactly what happens.”
Over 100 Next Wave alumni, industry members and House Beautiful team members attended the luncheon, where Donelson moderated the panel “From Inspiration to Image,” with stylist Olga Naiman and photographers Francesco Lagnese and Annie Schlechter.
