The Window Covering Manufacturers Association announced the 2015 WCMA Product Award winners at a reception in Las Vegas during Design & Construction Week. The awards honor the industry’s top window covering products and merchandising programs.

Award submissions were accepted across 10 categories, including cellular shades; drapery hardware; “green” product categories; horizontal blinds; motorization; Roman, roller and pleated shades; shadings and sheers; shutters; vertical blinds and panel tracks applications; wood and faux wood blinds; and specialty applications and miscellaneous products.

“The record number of technological innovations and new styles speaks directly to the hard work and ingenuity of our industry’s engineering and design teams,” said Ralph Vasami, executive director of WCMA. ”Each company is to be acknowledged for making this year’s awards program a very competitive one.”

Recognized companies include Comfortex Window Fashions, Coulisse, Eclipse Shutters, HT Window Fashions, Hunter Douglas, Maxxmar Window Fashions, MechoSystems, Mermet, Newell Rubbermaid, Norman Window Fashions, Orion Ornamental Iron, Phifer, Rowley, Safe-T-Shade, Springs Window Fashions and The Window Outfitters. The Product of the Year was Silhouette Duolite Shadings by Hunter Douglas, which combines a window shading and a room-darkening roller shade in one fabric-covered headrail.
