Over $30,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Charette Design Competition winners this month, honoring students who “demonstrate advanced skill in kitchen design by planning a safe, functional kitchen” within a three-hour period. About 100 student members of NKBA across 11 colleges participated, creating a floor plan using Monogram appliances. All designs were required to meet NKBA Kitchen and Bathroom Planning Guidelines and Graphics and Presentation Standards.

“There is an incredible level of talent and creativity among the students at NKBA-accredited colleges,” says Brandon Hochhalter, CKD, marketing development manager at Monogram. “Each year, we recognize the outstanding designs integrating Monogram appliances in the kitchen. Monogram would like to congratulate all the finalists and wish them continued success in the future.”
