Safavieh, most known for rugs and home furnishings, is branching out into the mattress business with Safavieh Dream, a line of spring-coiled mattresses that roll up and are easily shipped or carried in a portable UPS box. The new, inexpensive line of mattresses is a crossover for the brand, which also manufactures bed frames, bedroom accessories and headboards.
The mattresses are designed around the company's own DreamTECH technology, which allows the tight top-coil mattresses to roll into a much smaller size than typical mattresses, allowing for worldwide delivery at, as Safavieh says, half the cost of competitors. The Euro box-top mattresses, which feature MemorySOFT foam tops, are manufactured with individually encased tempered steel coils, and provide an even sleeping surface up to the mattress edge.

The collection includes the Clarity 6-inch spring mattress; the Tranquility 8-inch Spring Mattress; the Harmony 10-inch Euro Pillow Top Spring Mattress; and the Serenity 11.5-inch Euro Box Top Spring Mattress. Prices range from $179 to $649.
“A good night’s sleep shouldn’t be a privilege,” Creative Director Jonathan Yaraghi says. “My great-grandfather founded this company before the word ‘convenience’ had even entered the lexicon of home design. We’re now leading the cross-section of modern convenience, consumer accessibility and luxury for all.”
