New invitation designs will showcase the patterns designed by late architect-designer Alexander Girard. The capsule collection, released last week, features greeting cards featuring iconic graphics created by the celebrated postwar American artist.

Says James Hirschfeld, CEO and co-founder of Paperless Post: “We feel very lucky to be working with Girard Studio to bring Girard's brilliant design vision to a new era of communication. We are honored to include his seminal work in our product line as we endeavor to reimagine invitations and stationery through design and technology.”

Aleishall Girard Maxon, granddaughter of Alexander Girard and co-creative director of Girard Studio, says, “We believe our grandfather would have deeply appreciated the way in which technology has expanded the worlds of art, design and communication. As an avid traveler and someone who had a fascination in drawing connections between cultures across multiple continents, he would have embraced digital communication not only for its efficiency but for its ability to bridge the gaps of time and space.”
