OHNY benefit to honor John Edelman, Architizer founders

Open House New York (OHNY), an organization that strives to increase public access to New York City buildings, will host its largest fundraiser May 12 to honor Design Within Reach CEO John Edelman, Architzer founders Marc Kushner and Matthias Hollwich, and NYC Planning Commission chairman and Department of City Planning director Carl Weisbrod.

OHNY recognizes people from business, culture and government who work to spread awareness of architecture and design and who demonstrate a belief that design should be accessible. The organization offers programs that explore the future of the city in terms of design, construction and preservation.

The Spring Benefit will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at BRIC Arts Media House.
