The New York Design Center and Gilt Home have created a series of designer sales, Access to Design, which feature top interior designers and a curated selection of furnishings and textiles NYDC's trade-only showrooms.

The current sale features Jayne and Joan Michaels who selected pieces from Tucker Robbins, Odegard, Dennis Miller Associates, and Baker. The backstory says, "The duo's spare, luxurious aesthetic takes its cues from California's laid-back style of living (the pair grew up in Palm Springs) and from the functional art of Italian masters such as Gio Ponti. Textured surfaces and punches of color mark their work, as do their collaborations with artists and designers"

Past featured designers have included Jason Oliver Nixon, Drew McGukin, Lydia Marks and Lisa Frantz.
