In a festive precursor to New York Fashion Week, the New York Design Center hosted guest speakers and designers at “Live on 5 at 200 Lex,” a February 4 event held throughout the fifth-floor showrooms. Around 500 attendees enjoyed prosecco and spirits and newly launched collections of contemporary furnishings, lighting and wallpaper.

Among the many notable attendees were Patti Carpenter, Charles Pavarini III, Dara Brewster, Susan Easton, Denise McGaha, James Huniford, Ed Ku, Rio Hamilton, Russell Bush, Zolaykha Sherzad, Andrew Joseph, Robin Baron, Nazira Handal, Randall Tarasek, Justin Shaulis, Alan Tanksley, Stacey Kunstel and Bobby Berk.

Shared Dara Artisans co-founder Dara Brewster, “It was a wonderful evening with leaders in the field of interior design and home decor.” And furniture designer Tucker Robbins reflected, “There is a change afoot on the fifth floor at 200 Lex, with diverse creative talent uniting and offering thoughtful discussions on home design.”
