Creative entrepreneurs are now welcome to nominate themselves or other candidates for Martha Stewart's Fourth Annual American Made, an awards program that recognizes local and handmade products and the makers who create them.
While the American Made Award winners are chosen by Martha Stewart editors, one Audience Choice Winner will be chosen by the public among the categories Crafts, Design, Food and Style. Ten winners in total will receive a cash prize of $10,000, a trip for two to New York City to attend the summit, marketing and PR assistance to help propel their business, and the potential to be featured on MarthaStewart.com.

The awards will be announced on November 7 at the American Made Summit, a networking event and creative maker lecture series held at the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia headquarters in New York City. Last year’s program recognized such businesses as Detroit Dirt, Kalon Studios and Whit, and tallied more than 3,500 nominations for Audience Choice and more than 1.7 million votes toward choosing the Audience Choice winner.
