The spirit of creative collaboration is alive and well in the design world. Check out EAL’s roundup of the fall’s latest partnerships and projects between designers and design houses, among them inspired liaisons between Luke Irwin and Anthropologie, Lara Bohinc and Lapicida, Brunete Fraccaroli and Silestone, Eskayel and Threads of Life Bali, Jonathan Rachman with Bolt Textiles, and Cortney and Robert Novogratz with The Shade Store.
Anthropologie and Luke Irwin
British carpet designer Irwin has launched a five-design collection with Anthropologie. Each rug is handcrafted, and the collection has two themes: Indo-Tibetan abstracts that evoke the look of drying plaster, and Swedish geometrics, which have a sandblasted, antiqued finish.
Lapicida and Lara Bohinc
Lapicida has launched the Lunar Collection, its second collaboration with renowned jewelry designer Bohinc. The collection includes three pieces: a dining table, a side table and a coffee table. Each piece features a blend of brass or 18-karat gold-plated finishes and marbles in black, brown, white, green and gray shades. The pieces are created with an innovative CNC machine, then the final finishes are made by hand.
Silestone and Brunete Fraccaroli
Silestone has launched a limited-edition color created in partnership with renowned Brazilian interior designer and architect Fraccaroli. Acqua Fraccaroli debuted at the London Design Festival last month.

Eskayel and Threads of Life Bali
Rug company Eskayel has launched the Indigo Ikat Fabric, made in partnership with Threads of Life Bali. The four-pattern collection was inspired by Eskayel founder Shanan Campanaro’s visit to Bali in 2009. During the trip, Campanaro decided to produce her designs in traditional woven wrap ikat. The fabric is crafted by hand using local materials and natural dyes.

Bolt Textiles and Jonathan Rachman
Rachman’s recently released Sisters Collection for Bolt Textiles reflects the designer’s international heritage and childhood. Rachman, who was born in Sumatra, raised in Paris and educated in both the U.S. and Switzerland, crafted the collection with inspiration from five imagined, diverse sisters.
The Shade Store and the Novogratzes
Husband-and-wife design pair Cortney and Robert Novogratz are debuting their first-ever collection with The Shade Store, a selection of fabrics for window treatments. Geometric patterns and bold colors are hallmarks of the collection, which was inspired by the design team’s travels and their children. The four new fabrics (available in various colorways) are Geo Arrow, Colored Dots and Indian Summer, which will be available in all styles of Roman shades, drapery and cornices, and Delphi, which will be available in rollers, panels and the brand’s XL vertical blinds.
