Last night, industry guests gathered at the Christofle flagship showroom on Madison Avenue in New York City to view a special tabletop display by interior designer Sara Gilbane.

The table was set with Christofle silverware, placemats and napkins from Julia B. Linens, and a throw from Treillage.

"When I walked into Christofle, I saw this flatware and immediately thought gypsy picnic, summer soiree—a theme where friends get together in a relaxed setting," said Gilbane who was inspired by the warmer weather in New York City.

“The table is very elegant with the beautiful linens, flatware and cut-crystal, but there is still this playfulness with the fun, easy pieces such as the small mercury glass votives, ceramic garden birds, and watering can filled with flowers," she added.

Notable attendees included Robyn Pocker, Stephanie Stokes, Eve Krzyzanowski, Robert Leleux and Michael Divine.

“It says summer is here," said Pocker of the table display. "It has every detail for intimate conversation. The size and curve of the table entices guests to lean in to their friends. I love that there is a lot to admire on the table.”

“I love the color and the use of the different textures and materials as well as the mix of the high and the low," said Devine about Gilbane's table setting.
