DreamHome, the annual six-room showcase of interior design at Chicago's Merchandise Mart, is adding a new feature this year: a charitable contribution. For the first time, Design Center at the Mart will donate pieces from the showcase to benefit charity Almost Home Kids, which cares for kids with health issues in a home-like environment. The prize? A BRADLEY fur ottoman currently featured in the DreamHome Bedroom designed by Frank Fontana.

The rooms are designed exclusively by Chicago-area design firms using furnishings sourced from the Design Center showrooms. “DreamHome is an annual must-see showcase of awe-inspiring interior design,” says Julia Chappell, managing director of marketing for the Design Center. “This promotion is another great reason for people to get in and explore the rooms and be inspired before it closes at the end of the year.”

The sweepstakes started August 10 and runs through Sample Sale ending Saturday, September 12. For every entry, the Design Center will make a charitable donation of $5 to Almost Home Kids. Enter the sweepstakes by filling out an entry form accessible from Design Center’s website or by visiting DreamHome in person, taking a selfie and submitting it directly through the contest page or posting to Twitter with the hashtag #DreamHomeSweeps. The 2015 DreamHome is open in Suite 137 on the first floor of the Mart from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
