The Architectural Digest Design Show returns this week to New York’s Piers 92 and 94, running from March 17 to 20. The highlights include MADE, a juried section for handcrafted and independent work; SHOPS, a retail section with new lounges and gourmet food vendors; and the Architectural Digest Design Studio, which, this year, will be overseen by designer Amy Lau and will host events, book signings and cocktails.

Architectural Digest shares the following talks schedule for the show’s opening day:


Keynote: Renovating With Style (noon–1 p.m.)
Architectural Digest editor in chief Margaret Russell will host a conversation with Delphine and Reed Krakoff, whose projects include the sensitive restoration of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s childhood summer retreat, as highlighted in the magazine’s April issue. The lively discussion will cover how they make a space feel true to its design origins, reflective of their contemporary, art-driven tastes, and suitable for their young family. They’ll also focus on the research and dedication that goes into their process.

The Art of Client Relationships (2–3 p.m.)
Some of the biggest names in the industry will discuss the ever-important designer/client relationship. The conversation brings together Rafael de Cárdenas, founder, Architecture at LargeSuzanne Kasler, principal, Suzanne Kasler InteriorsVicente Wolf, founder, Vicente Wolf Associates; and moderator Mayer Rus, West Coast editor, Architectural Digest.

How to Reboot Your Home (4-5 p.m.)
Find out a few tips and fixes that can make a home more organized and, ultimately, more relaxing. This conversation on design trends, sponsored by Pirch, will be moderated by interior designer and TV personality Vanessa Deleon, with panelists Leura Fine, founder, Laurel & WolfEugenio Minvielle, founder, Innit; and Jeffery Sears, CEO, Pirch.

Tickets to the show are now available. Admission is free to members of the design trade who pre-register online; the on-site ticket fee for trade is $30. General admission is $30 online, and $40 at the door, with $95 VIP tickets available for access on Thursday, March 17. Ticket price includes full access to the exhibit hall; DIFFA’S Dining by Design table displays at Pier 92; the ADDS Café + Lounge, Theater; and daily special events. Tickets include re-entry on all four days, and a portion of ticket sales will benefit DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids).
