The Decorative Furnishings Association is getting a new look online. Officially launched last week, the organization’s new site is stocked with a number of new features, including: DFA member-only webinars, which can be accessed at users’ convenience, as well as a frequently updated news section. The newly revamped site’s first webinar is scheduled for a to-be-announced date in late September/early October. The forum will feature DFA executive director Steve Nobel discussing how “meta-marketing” aligns with DFA’s objectives to promote the value of design as well as to grow the design community’s trade resources. (The webinar is somewhat of a follow-up on Nobel's presentation earlier this year for the DFA, where he discussed the importance of luxury branding, being selective, and developing relationships.)

Dan Cahoon, DFA president, tells EAL, "The new DFA website is designed to convey a sense of community. The work DFA is doing to elevate the profession of  interior design, and make it more accessible is available on the website. You can easily access DFA’s mission, members and progress very quickly."

Other webinars currently available on the site include “Drive Traffic to Your Website,” by Robbin Block of Blockbeta Marketing; “2015 Market Analysis and Guidance,” by Chris Ramey of The Home Trust; “Through the Looking Glass: Current Trends in the Luxury, Affluent and Wealthy Markets,” by Bob Shullman, founder of the Shullman Research Center, and a library of others. Discover the new features online.
