Last summer, more than 20 interior designers made over rooms and common spaces at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island (RMH-LI), which is home to children suffering from terminal illnesses and their families. This year, the project enters phase II with double the number of interior designers (40) creating beautiful, calming spaces for the residents.
“Project Design,” the largest RMH-LI redesign in its 28-year history, began through a partnership with Kravet Inc. and NYC&G magazine. Last year, companies donated more than $2 million in design, labor and materials to this first-of-its-kind initiative.

An Open House, open to the public, will follow the gala from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 19, before the families move back in.
