At its annual benefit dinner in March, the New York School of Interior Design will recognize David Kleinberg with the Albert Hadley Lifetime Achievement Award and Charlotte Moss with the NYSID Centennial Medal. The Thomas N. Armstrong III Award in Landscape Design will go to Sawyer | Berson Architecture and Landscape Architecture (Brian Sawyer, founding partner); and Delos (Paul Scialla, founder and CEO) will receive the Green Design Award.

“NYSID is a global leader in design education,” says Patricia M. Sovern, chairman of the NYSID board of trustees. “We are thrilled to recognize these outstanding men and women whose work exemplifies the contributions design makes to our lives and our world. They inspire our students as powerful role models. We are grateful to the many friends and colleagues who will join us in celebrating their achievements and help make possible the scholarships that will allow aspiring designers to reach for their dream career.”

Interior designer Alexa Hampton, Hearst Design Group editorial director Newell Turner, and philanthropist Maria Spears, all NYSID trustees, are set to serve as benefit co-chairs.
