ASID recognizes passionate industry leaders

The recipients of ASID’s 2015 National Honors award, which recognizes service to the community, the chapter, and the society, were announced Tuesday. Open to individuals, industry partners and chapters, the recognition honors education, industry partnerships, community service and other endeavors. “Through significant engagement with their local chapters and communities, our National Honors recipients continue to advance the ASID mission,” ASID CEO Randy Fiser said. “They are passionate leaders in our profession and make a meaningful impact on the work we do. Their deep commitment to the interior design profession, the society and its members is inspiring.”

ASID Medalist Award winner: Sybil Jane Barrido, Los Angeles Chapter

ASID Medalist Award winner: Mary G. Knopf, Alaska Chapter

ASID Educator Medalist winner: Lisa M. Tucker, Virginia Chapter

ASID Industry Partner Merit Award winner: Doug Hartsell, Duralee, Fabrics & Fine Furniture, Washington Metro Chapter

ASID Industry Partner Merit Award winner: Patty Dominguez, Cosentino, California Central/Nevada Chapter

ASID Lifetime Award winner: Linda Singer Heinz, Arizona North Chapter
