A+D will return to downtown L.A. with reopening gala

A+D Architecture and Design Museum will return to downtown Los Angeles with its fifth annual fundraiser and grand reopening, “CELEBRATE: SHELTER,” on June 27 at its new home at 900 East 4th Street.

A+D first opened in Los Angeles back in January 2001 in the renowned Bradbury Building with the purpose of solely exhibiting progressive architecture and design. Previous years’ ‘CELEBRATE’ galas have included such contributing luminaries and companies as Zaha Hadid, Morphosis, Jonathan Adler, Tadao Ando, James Perse, John Baldessari, BMW Designworks, Steven Ehrlich, Fitzsu, Chadwick Studio, David Hertz, Chip Kidd, L.A. Eyeworks, Marmol Radziner, Richard Meier, Minarc, Karim Rashid, Trina Turk and more.
