Chilewich has popped up in the all-new housewares department at Bloomingdale's, as of December 29, where it is presenting tabletop and flooring picks, including placemats, runners and indoor/outdoor shag mats.
Chilewich has also opened shops-within-shops in Design Within Reach's new Paramus, New Jersey, and Georgetown locations.
Says Chilewich founder Sandy Chilewich of the concept: “We invited Bloomingdale’s executives to visit our very first Chilewich retail store soon after we opened. They instantly recognized that our new retail concept would deeply resonate with their customers. Our Chilewich 'shop in shop' at Bloomingdale’s fits perfectly in their newly renovated and beautiful 8th floor and we are very proud to have a home there!”
