Contrary to popular belief, now is not the moment to ease up on marketing. In fact, it’s time to step on the gas. That said, not all messaging is created equal—tune in to hear from Joseph Aldrich and Laura Bindloss, who weigh in on what to say and how to (gracefully) spread the word without feeling icky.

Business of Home debuts Community Discussion, a biweekly series of interactive Q&A webinars. Hosted by BOH editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen, the series explores how COVID-19 is impacting interior design and the home industry—and how designers and brands should respond. Tune in every Monday and Friday at 1:00 p.m. EST.

BOH Insiders will receive email communication with the link to join the session. If you’re not a BOH Insider, you can join here, or email membership@businessofhome.com with questions.

Kaitlin Petersen is the editor in chief of Business of Home

Laura Bindloss is the founder of Nylon Consulting, a boutique PR and social media agency based in New York that represents both interior designers and product brands across the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. In addition to securing features in media for their clients, the firm has worked on projects ranging from The Met Gala to collaborations with companies like Williams Sonoma and Anthropologie.

At the helm of The Cypress Group since founding the integrated marketing firm in 2008, Joseph Aldrich excels not only at vaulting up-and-coming brands and luxury service providers to prominence but also pivoting established purveyors in the shelter industry to capture broader audiences or revive outmoded images. While masterfully defining communications strategies for clients and putting them at the top of every who’s who list, he’s also risen as an influencer. Aldrich is a frequently invited industry speaker, contributor to shelter media publications and active member of industry associations.
