The Shade Store and Benjamin Moore teamed up to bring the Color of the Year to life for 20 designers in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area. Taking place at The Shade Store’s showroom, the evening began with mingling and light refreshments while designers browsed through the company’s vast selection of materials and product displays that highlighted all the different styles of window treatments offered. Candice Carter, the architectural design representative for Benjamin Moore in the Charlotte region, then hosted a lively CEU presentation, “Color of the Year 2022 and Color Trends,” which focused on the importance of paint quality, education and ideas.
This is not the first time the two leading brands have partnered, having joined forces last year to develop “A Match Made in Color,” a catalog of curated color schemes with custom window treatment materials from The Shade Store and the perfect Benjamin Moore paints to match.
“On behalf of Benjamin Moore, I want to express my appreciation to The Shade Store for hosting a successful showroom tour and continuing education session for our local design professionals,” said Carter. “Their beautiful South Park showroom was the perfect setting to inform and inspire our clients on Color Trends 2022 and how to ‘Protect Their Color Vision.’ I look forward to partnering with The Shade Store again in the future.”
“It is so wonderful to work with national partners like The Shade Store who are dedicated to supporting and engaging with interior designers,” said Maddie Landers, marketing and communications manager for the Interior Design Society. “Their event in Charlotte was a perfect combination of networking, intriguing education and lighthearted fun.”
