The Decorative Arts Department and Division Director Jason Busch of Sotheby's New York hosted an intimate dinner for designers and decorative arts department specialists ahead of its Autumn auctions of furniture and decorative arts, running Oct. 18-20. The event was sponsored by Farrow & Ball, which collaborated with Sotheby's to design the gallery exhibitions using its paint and new wallpaper collections. Guests dined in the Decorative Arts galleries, surrounded by furniture, tapesteries, rugs, ceramcis, art, silver and vertu, all which will be a part of the European Decorative Arts, and the Silver, Vertu, Ceramics and Russian Works of art sales. The guest list included William Brockschmidt and Courtney Coleman of Brockschmidt and Coleman, Edward Benedict and Mimi Fery of Peter Marino Architect, Ralph Harvard of Ralph Harvard Inc., Brian McCarthy, Reinaldo Leandro, Christine Haney of Farrow & Ball, Marcy Masterson, Patrick McGrath, Sandra Nunnerley, Alex Papachristidis, Rajiv Surendra, and Beckany Kilbourne of Loro Piana US Interiors, who generously sent each guest home with a cashmere pillow.
