ASID hosts “WELL Designed” presentation

In collaboration with the national chapter of ASID, Chad Stark—senior vice president of Stark, president of Scalamandré and president of the Decorative Furnishings Association—hosted “WELL Designed: Demonstrating the Positive Impact of Interior Design” at Stark in New York City. ASID CEO Randy Fiser and Elizabeth Miles of Delos presented the program, which outlined the International WELL Building Institute’s areas of concern and how to promote health and wellness in buildings. Fiser spoke to how IWBI standards impacted the design of the new ASID national headquarters in Washington, D.C.
“In addition to being incredibly smart and engaging, the speakers are both very attractive, [with] beautiful smiles and great skin—I say, if the standards of the IWBI can produce the same results for everyone, bring it on,” says Glenn Gissler, president of ASID New York Metro.
