On November 13, 1stdibs celebrated the "1stdibs 50" featured in the second edition of Rooms of Distinction 2018 at Restuarant Marc Forgione. Curated by the 1stdibs’ editorial team, the esteemed list highlights 50 of the most talented designers from around the world. The night consisted of cocktails and an intimate dinner highlighting the selected 50. Industry leaders including Wesley Moon, B.A. Torrey, Brent Leonard and Sean Webb of FORMarch, Josh Ingmire and Kristina Albaugh of HundredMile, Brad Ford and Russell Groves were among those in attendance.
"There are lots of top designer lists, but the 1stdibs 50 uniquely celebrates those interior designers and architects who are particularly adept at deploying furniture, art and decorative objects across styles and eras to create rooms that are truly distinctive,” explained Anthony Barzilay Freund, editorial director and director of fine art at 1stdibs, “These talented men and women are at once curators, connoisseurs and masters of the mix."
