Job Description

The Sales Executive at Ravenhill Studio has a passion for connecting with clients and establishing new relationships. They are responsible for new client acquisition, building on existing lead lists and generating new business through outreach, with a focus on growing our business in California. They spend most of their week engaging with prospective clients and spending face-to-face time with new customers. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the Account Managers.

The Sales Executive acts as a true business partner to our existing clients. This position spends three days in the Studio per week, conducting outreach and closing sales, as well as continually updating our lists of leads to pursue. The remainder of the week is spent turning leads into accounts, attending networking and industry events, and calling on existing clients. This position works closely with the Account Managers to ensure accounts are taken care of and orders are being processed accurately.

Through a holistic understanding of our clients and their needs, the Sales Executive leads the team in growing our client base and hitting our monthly Sales goals. They are a representative of Ravenhill Studio out in the world and promote and connect with people in the industry to keep us top of mind.

Job Requirements

Major Responsibilities:
Prospecting new business by sending emails, making calls, and scheduling client meetings on a weekly basis.
Soliciting sales quotes and initial sales orders.
Running reports weekly to track client interaction, find new leads, and plan for upcoming sales trips and in person meetings.
Traveling for client meetings up to 4x quarterly.
Attending trade shows, happy hours and industry events to network with leads and existing clients to cultivate more business.
Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Helping get more clients registered on our online Trade Portal.

Additional Responsibilities:
Documenting all customer interactions in Salesforce, including logging meetings and updating customer contact information.
Leading client engagement and feedback initiatives to help the Studio strategize new products and identify other ways to better serve our customers.
Promoting Ravenhill Studio through a deep understanding of our products and industry.
Providing excellent problem solving for the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications:
5+ years of sales experience
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proven customer management experience
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superb organizational skills and systems thinking
Results driven, strategic thinker and team oriented
Proficient in Salesforce
Experience in contemporary design a plus
