Doniphan Moore Interiors is a dynamic, fast-paced boutique interior design firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, possess a sophisticated eye for detail, and bring a people-centric attitude to their work. The Ideal Candidate:
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with designers, vendors, and clients
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
• Creative problem-solver with both technical expertise and design sensibility
• Strong financial acumen and an understanding of budgeting and cost management
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement & Sourcing: Manage the full procurement process, ensuring timely and accurate purchasing of materials, furniture, and accessories.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with Senior Designers, the Studio Director, and Principal to track project needs, schedules, orders, deliveries, ensuring smooth procurement and installation. Support design teams during all project phases—from design development through to installation. Maintain a clear and organized record of all procurement-related activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactively anticipate procurement needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operations. Balance the technical and creative aspects of procurement to meet the unique needs of each project.
• Team Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration between internal teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow from start to finish.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher
• Experience using procurement management software
• Presentation tools including Adobe Suite and basic office software like Microsoft Office
• 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in interior design or a related industry
• Familiarity with the interior design procurement process and product sourcing
• Ability to manage project budgets and timelines efficiently
• Strong knowledge of design trends, technical processes, materials, and furnishings
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in project management tools
*Must be Proficient in AutoCAD / Sketch-up/ Studio Designer
*3-5 Years experience in high-end residential design firm
*Self - Motivated, Flexible, and detail oriented
*Extensive knowledge of furniture, fabrics, finishes, and materials
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Professional work ethic
