- Selling textiles, lighting and furniture to interior designers and architects for residential and contract/hospitality projects
- Prospecting firms and contacts to develop new clients as well as maintaining regular contact with existing client base
- Making product presentations to clients
- Securing appointments with designers and architects to present with visiting manufacturer reps, on occasion
- Respond to all applicable telephone and email inquiries within a timely manner
- Maintain a record of ongoing and upcoming projects
- Update firm’s libraries and present new products
- Willing and able to transport samples to clients in assigned territory, including the ability to move large rolling duffle bags and lift in and out of vehicle
- Assigned territory includes Palm Beach County, Stuart/Vero Beach, Jacksonville, Orlando and surrounding communities
- Participate in all applicable company training sessions
- Participate in weekly staff/sales meetings
- Maintain communication with internal showroom sales and customer service departments to work as a team to build sales and provide excellent service to the clients

- Experience in and knowledge of the A&D industry
- Internal motivation, organization and self-discipline is key for this position
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary--written, verbal, and relational
- Computer skills--Excel, Word, Outlook
- Reliable car and clean driving record a must
- Physical ability to transport large bags carrying road lines, catalogs and sampling, etc. to clients within assigned territory
- 4-year college degree is required
