LA MAISON PIERRE FREY
FRONT DESK SHOWROOM LIAISON

Pierre Frey, a leader in luxury textiles, wallcoverings, carpets, and furniture is currently seeking to fill the front desk/showroom liaison position in the New York, D&D showroom.

OVERALL JOB OBJECTIVE
The showroom environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting. The front desk position is a crucial component of our showroom as the first point of contact with our clients. It is imperative this person is attentive, courteous, outgoing, friendly, and professional when taking calls and greeting our customers as they come into the showroom.

The receptionist duties include but not limited to:

· Greeting guests coming into the showroom, explaining our scanner system and handing off to sales representative.
· Phone operations – first point of contact with the showroom. Answering basic textile questions and dispatch all other calls.
· Answering stock checks and net prices for call-in clients and e-mail inquiries to the general showroom inbox.
. Daily check of the general showroom inbox for dispatching to the correct salesperson/s.
· Managing/maintaining new account applications
· Opening and closing responsibilities.
· Other administrative tasks such as mailings and ordering supplies.
. Assist team with clients at peak traffic times.

· Experience with a multi-line phone system.
