- Source many facets of the construction and design process, including materials, hardware, furniture and fixtures
- Incorporate broad concepts as well as specific instructions and feedback from Principal, Senior Designers and clients into thoughtful design proposals
- Conduct archival research in the pursuit of period-appropriate designs
- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors and contractors to fulfill project-specific needs; schedule, oversee and follow up on jobs
- Correspond and coordinate with clients
- Assist other designers with various design- and studio-related tasks
- Travel to project sites throughout the greater Los Angeles area as needed
- Other responsibilities as needed
- Professional background in interior design or related fields
- General working knowledge of construction, architecture and design history
- A reliable car and valid driver's license
