Job Description

LCS is a small Interior Design Studio based in downtown New York. We're currently looking for strong and motivated candidates to join our team as a part-time Interior Design Assistant. This position will work directly with the principal.

Job responsibilities include:

Assist in the sourcing of furniture, lighting, textiles, and finishes from trade and vintage vendors
Maintain and organize sample libraries (physical and digital)
Create and update presentations, mood boards, and concept packages
Support in the preparation of client-facing documents including tear sheets, FF&E specs, and schedules
Draft purchase orders, track orders, and coordinate deliveries with vendors and receivers
Assist with site visits, installations, and photo shoots as needed
Maintain project documentation and timelines
Communication with internal and external clients and vendors
Provide general administrative support and assist with studio organization

Job Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
1–2 years of experience in a design studio preferred.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
Familiarity with Studio Designer is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional communication and time management skills.
Must be a team player, self-starter, and eager to learn.
