Founded in 1993 in New York, Liz O’Brien Gallery has been pioneering new areas for collecting 20th-century design and decorative arts, including furniture by the architect Samuel Marx. In 2011, we launched Editions, a made-to-order collection of upholstery and lighting inspired by vintage pieces. More recently our focus has encompassed contemporary makers and artists. Our clientele is well-known architects and interior designers as well as distinguished private collectors.

Our tight knit team has wide-ranging interests in and out of our field. We are excited about art and design, both contemporary and historical. Having a friendly and comfortable environment is important to all of us here.
