General Responsibilities
Support all current projects from all phases of design through installment, including (but not limited to): CAD drawings, sourcing, procurement, scheduling, and project management
Work with our design team to create and present presentation boards, CAD drawings, mood boards, FF&E, surface materials, color palettes, and lighting
Generate plan specifications based on client needs and contract requirements
Provide design support and administrative support to Principal Designer
Work with outside vendors to source/procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures, & accessories
Manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, be a team player, assist in the training of junior staff
Qualifications
2+ years of Interior Design Experience, preferably from a residential design-specific firm.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
Highly skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp is a MUST for this position
Skilled at researching finish materials and knowledge of their required applications as well as installation requirements.
Proven ability to create comprehensive finish schedules, lighting schedules, door hardware schedules
Ability to achieve goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to seek out and find solutions to problems as they come up.
Knowledge in IVY, Canva, and ASANA
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
Knowledge of design requirements
Working knowledge of construction methods
Great ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team
Reliable car and willing to travel
Able and willing to move small furniture items during installs, haul materials, etc for meetings and office organization
