Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support senior design team and manage junior design team through the design process from concept through installation
Prepare construction schedules and manage construction projects with regular meetings with construction partners and clients
Ability to create RCPs, discuss construction considerations and preferences
Prepare/review proposals and pricing estimates for client consideration
Review/request estimates and quotes from design showrooms, workrooms, and vendors
Coordinate and maintain FF&E schedules
Review/coordinate orders, and delivery schedules
Maintain successful vendor, client, and internal team member relationships by communicating and resolving issues proactively and professionally
Coordinate and assist on-site with installations
Work with office manager/bookkeeper to maintain timely records
Bachelor's degree required (interior design or architecture degree preferred)
Residential interior design experience (3+ years preferred)
Google Suite (proficiency required)
AutoCAD and Studio Designer (experience preferred)
Full time, in-person position based in Washington D.C., with U.S. work authorization (required)
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle and be able to travel primarily throughout Washington, DC Metro area (required)
At least a year of direct experience with managing/coordinating construction projects (strongly preferred)
Demonstrate motivated, focused, and highly organized approach, with the ability to adapt to changing directives
Thrive in a fast-paced work environment while demonstrating excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with professionalism and maturity
