Rachel Jackson is a neuroinclusive interior designer and Fitwel Ambassador based in Austin, TX, with over twenty years in residential design. Her practice focuses on how lighting, acoustics, visual complexity, and spatial planning affect nervous system regulation, bringing an occupational therapy-informed lens to residential projects for neurodivergent families.
Rachel holds certifications from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization in both ADHD and chronic disorganization, a certificate from Oxford University in domestic architecture, and is an IDCEC-certified continuing education provider. She has trained designers across 22 countries on sensory-friendly design methodology and collaborates cross-disciplinarily with occupational therapists, professional organizers, and mental health professionals.
She is the founder of The Home Design Lab, a membership community for designers, therapists, and families with an IDCEC-certified professional development layer for designers. In May 2026, she'll be speaking at HD Expo in Las Vegas on neuroinclusive design for the hospitality industry.
