On December 1st, leading outdoor furnishings company Janus et Cie celebrated the opening of its newest showroom—at the Giralda Place Residences in Coral Gables, Florida—with Elle Decor.
At the event, which took place during Art Basel Miami Beach, guests toured the new showroom before ascending to the building’s seventh-floor outdoor poolside leisure deck, where they enjoyed dinner by TUR Kitchen and live music by Guerra Grooves. Showcasing an extensive product collection, including performance textiles and decorative accessories, the elegant 5,000-square-foot showroom will serve the Florida territory, as well as Central and South America.
On hand to welcome guests were Elle Decor editor in chief Asad Syrkett and associate publisher Bill Pittel, and Janus et Cie CEO Greg Gainer, senior VP of residential sales Danya Lane, and senior VP of marketing Alexis Contant. Joining the celebration were Hive’s Alison Skipper and Sara McCann; Nick Luaces Jr., Brenda Luaces, Mercedes Castillo and Indalir Aguiar of Nick Luaces Design Associates; Jennifer Lynn Design’s Jennifer Arteaga and Brian Kushner; Taylor & Taylor’s Yvonne Enriquez, Alysse Melo and Lucia Tijerino; Esteban Salazar, Mauricio Carles, Jorge Camacho and Gage Hartung of Shuster Design Associates; and Michele Plachter, Edward Plachter and Sidnee Steigerwalt of Michele Plachter Design.
