WithIt expands programming for Atlanta conference

This year’s WithIt (Women In the Home and Furnishings Industry Today) Conference (August 17 to 19) in Atlanta will feature panels and programs including two sessions on the same topic: "The Challenges and Opportunities of Leadership," with one panel led by four female CEOs and one led by four male CEOs. Sessions will also cover topics including customer service, leadership, color selection, how to choose a mentor and taking the emotion out of problem-solving, among others.

An impressive roster of speakers includes opening speaker Ann Omvig Maine, editor in chief of Traditional Home magazine, and Julie S. Nugent, vice president of the Catalyst Research Center for Corporate Practice, who will address attendees on August 18; Dr. Sandy Jap, professor of marketing at Emory University Goizueta Business School, who will speak on August 19; and Dr. Jessica Foster, senior partner and global practice leader in executive development, RHR International LLP, who will lead the invite-only pre-conference Executive Forum on August 17.
