west elm launches Before & After Designer Challenge app

west elm has launched its first Before and After Designer Challenge through Facebook, enabling designers to put their talent to the test. By uploading photos and descriptive copy, designers can share the ways they reinvented a space using at least one west elm product.

Two winners will be chosen: a Facebook fan favorite and a judge's choice—each will receive a $500 card for Williams-Sonoma Home, west elm or Pottery Barn. The winners will also be featured on west elm's Facebook page and on WSIDesignerMarketplace.com. Entries will be accepted through May 16.

The judging panel is composed of experts from west elm and the design industry: Alex Bates, west elm 
SVP Creative Director; Brad Ford, 
Interior Designer; Julia Noran, The Editor At Large President and Site Director; and Jonathan Orr
, west elm Design Director Textiles.
