Next April, British designer Tom Dixon along with event partner Fab.com will present the second showing of the design installation, MOST, at Milan’s Museum of Science and Technology. What serves as a curated creative hub, MOST promotes forward-thinking culture, commerce and creativity against the extraordinary backdrop of historic exhibits based on technological innovation.

Fab.com co-founder Bradford Shellhammer said, ‘MOST is a dream opportunity for Fab to engage with the international community while exploring innovations in technology and design. This is an amazing exhibition at the forefront of design culturally, creatively and commercially, and we feel privileged to be a part of it.’

MOST is now seeking other collaborative companies and organizations to present active ideas with a focus on making and means of production, food and taste. These ideas will be broadcast out to Milan and the world. Dixon, the show’s curator, describes MOST as ‘a collision’ manifest in the inclusion of craftsmen as well as rapid prototyping, fast food versus slow food, digital and analogue.

Potential participants with major projects for inclusion in MOST 2013 should contact MOST project manager Will Sorrell at will.sorrell@tomdixon.net.

‘Milan has become the greatest design show on earth,’ said Dixon. ‘We are aiming to be the epicentre – a global carnival of the freshest installations, discussions and forward-thinking ideas.’
