A March 10 kickoff party welcomed guests to The Shade Store’s new outpost in Portland, Oregon. Seventy-five attendees, among them Stacy Kendall, Rachel Gallaher and Shawn Williams from Gray magazine, were introduced to the store’s products and services. Says Mariko Blakemore, regional support for The Shade Store, “Our Portland showroom is our first in Oregon, and we’re expanding our presence in the Pacific Northwest. Our location, right in the Pearl District, puts The Shade Store in an area with incredible restaurants, world-class art galleries, and vibrant retailers. It’s the perfect place for our brand.”
