Steve McKenzie's, a home and lifestyle brand, will launch this fall with a 3,200-square-foot Atlanta storefront in the Westside Design District. A collaboration between Steve McKenzie, formerly the chief designer, VP of marketing and CEO of Larson-Juhl, and his wife, Jill McKenzie, the brand will draw from the gracious living associated with southern life, as well as the Scandinavian modern furniture that Jill's family sold in their stores when she was growing up.

The lifestyle brand will be anchored by a line of linen fabrics directly inspired by Steve McKenzie's paintings.

The digitally printed textiles, in three patterns (Loop, Pinstripe, and Scallop) and five colorways, capture the brushstrokes that define his plaster-on-linen art, which is on view through June 21, at Gallery Protege in NYC. The show marks his first exhibition in NYC, and the debut of his experimentations with colored pigments, which inspired the launch of the textiles. The five forthcoming fabrics colorways are directly inspired by the colored plaster pigments of his latest art.

Steve McKenzie's will include collaborations with artisans from across the southeast U.S., ranging from North Carolina furniture to leather accessories made in Virginia.
